Rehabilitation Psychology

The Department of Rehabilitation came into existence in the year 2000, when the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India has initiated to establish five Composite Regional Centre’s in all over the Country. Where all the five disabilities have to focus under one roof. The department of Rehabilitation psychology is one of its sectors for providing the rehabilitation services to not only the disabled but all those who are suffering from different psycho-social problems.

The Department of Rehab. Psychology provides the following Academic, clinical and Research:-

Long Term Courses

1. The Department has started the Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation psychology for the First Time in the Country Recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India and the Course is affiliated to the University of Kashmir Since 2005-06.
